German champs middle distance.
A whole orienteering weekend in the pissing rain that was in the end the last cause of part of all the floods we're having now. Forest was very wet, but somehow it was a fun :)
Fitness wise a mediocre run (well, can't expect more at the moment), o-wise it was OK for the difficulty of the course. Never made any real big mistakes and hit the control I was most afraid of straight on, but lots of smaller time losses in the more difficult sections. Mored detailed analysis might follow if I'm able to convince my Garmin to download again...
Details:
1) Very insecure in the second half, read much to much details, should have just aimed straight for the big road and the meadow. Then problems in the circle. 2.30
5) Insecure about distance and the vegetation didn't provide any help, so I was running to another control first a good bit before mine. 1 min.
