Arge-Alp-Cup 2012, Staffel, D35 (13/10/2012)

ARGE-ALP-CUP, Relay, 2nd leg, 3,2km + 160m climb
At 1600m near the Lucomagno pass, could feel the height from the beginning (wasn't the only one complaining about that). The combination of height, cold air and little remnants of a cold made for very painful breathing and not enough oxygen anyway - was out of breath before I reached the first control and felt weak for most of the course. O-wise it was OK most of the time, but wasn't too difficult.
Details:
1) Easily found, but physically dead and shattered less than 2 min. into the race :(
3) A little bit of unnecessary climb when I was at the big path bending and went uphill first and then down to the small path again. 20s?
4) Route choice error. Instead of climbing up the steep slope and then going carefully back down over the very stony meadow should have just used the path that was running below 3. No idea how much that costed me, but I guess at least 2 min. Also 1:15 lost in the circle when I was looking too much north for my control.
6) 15s or so cause I first looked for the control one cliff down.
10) Came a bit too high. 15s?
Total mistakes: ca. 4 min?
