OO-Cup Stage 3, W21A long (03/08/2012)

OO-Cup Slovenia, Stage 2, W21A long, 2,9km +120m climb

Race felt better than yesterday, parts were really good, but still too many mistakes (and more time consuming than they felt during the race). Very, very bad runability in parts today.
Details:
3) Came out of direction, far too far north. Had to relocate which wasn't too difficult but took a while. Lost more than I thought there, because the footing was so bad and made the detour a lot more costly. 5 min.
4) Silly mistake. Fine until the path bending, then the plan was to go between the 2 depressions. Unfortunately I didn't realize that I would have to go a few lines down first, stayed on the contour and crossed the depression line too far east. Took my a bit too figure out what happened when I ended up at a path - but at least I knew the path was there later, which helped me get a good route choice to 6. 4:15 lost
8) Left the path too early, relocated at the end of the yellow, but was slower and more complicated from there on than the originally planned route. 2 min at least.
9) Too little detours when I wasn't sure (you can see the bumps in the route). 2 min.
Rest was clean, but always a little bit slower than the others...
Total mistakes: 13:15, again 3min/km, but on a much more technical course. Still need to get rid of this mistakes.
