Baden-Württembergische Staffelmeisterschaften, Lauf 1 (14/07/2012)

Orienteering Competion race 37:52 [5] **** 3.75 km (10:06 / km)
spiked:7/11c shoes: VJ Supra 2012
Baden-Württembergische Staffelmeisterschaften (Relay champs), 2 persons relay, 2 runs per runner.
First run: 3,1km straight line, no climb

Running form was a lot better than expected, felt OK if not super fast and was able to run through most of the cross parts, too. Did help that it was a nice forest.
Orienteering was lala, parts were good, fast and in control, but some silly mistakes (actually a mistake on nearly every second control :( ).
Details:
1) Started good, easy leg to the first one, enough time to get into the map - but managed to not see the path left I'd planned to take and make an unnecessary detour. Not sure about time loss because I was told that the path was actually quite unrunable. 30s?
3) Drifted a bit too far right, took me a few seconds on the hill to realize where exactly I am and where to go. Split times suggest 1 min. lost.
5) Was exactly on track and at the right path crossing, but then for some silly reason (tiredness and other runners going there?) thought the control was on the hill that a saw 100m meter a head when it should have been clearly on the one next to/behind the path :( Stood confused on the wrong hill for a bit, then back to the right one. Felt like about 1 min. lost. (Damned, would have had a great split if I hadn't made that mistake)
7) Drifted too far left and had to go back a bit when reaching the street. 30s?
Total mistakes: about 3 min.
