DBK Sprint Quali (02/06/2012)

German champs sprint, qualification; 1,6km + 55m
As we were only 14 runners in D35, everyone was automatically qualified for the A-final. So took the quali easy and tried to concentrate on a good flow and making no mistakes. Had a OK run with a good flow, but some hesitations/mistakes.
Fun course, but if I'd have to run that on maximum speed the lots of stairs would have killed me...
Details:
2) Short hesitation near the control. 5s
3) Overran it a bit on the path and had to go back from the path crossing. 10s
5) Biggest mistake of the run: Didn't read the control description properly and expected the control to be on top of the stairs. When it wasn't, I was confused for a while. From the splits looks like a lost at least 40s there...
11) Looks like I made a bit of a route choice mistake, should have taken the - slightly longer - route without stairs. 5-10s?
14) Didn't understand the map properly, didn't understand that the 2 paths leaving the stairs were on different levels. Was confused when I was at the first one and there was no path straight on. 15s
